Introduction
Welcome to my blog, which I built to share my personal fulfillment which I attained through Bonsai Cultivation.
I am a city dweller living in the nation's capital. Stress is inevitable for people like me as I get through every single day fighting literally for a living. Traffic, parking, work, crowds, bills, commitments...the list goes on. I needed a hobby to quieten my mind and spirit. Through Bonsai Cultivation I found much private time, and positive work for my fingers and my mind.
But joy is unsatisfying unless shared, hence I offer to help you build your own bonsai collection and take your mind off your city stresses.
So enjoy my blog, and feel free to make comments or share your experiences.

What is a "Wrightia"?
Wrightia or commonly known as Water Jasmine or locally named as "Sui Mui" is a native plant of south east asia. Very hardy and highly adaptable to extreme conditions. Commonly used as bonsai plants because of these trades.
Why Wrightia?
Due to its highly adaptable nature and versatility, it is a plant which requires minimal maintenance. Most bonsai hobbyists start out on a Wrightia tree and are satisfied with the results. There aren't many trees out that who could beat that!
Periodical Trimming
For Wrightia, it is important to pluck away the leaves once in every 2 months, and trim the trunks' length. By doing so, your Wrightia will look mature and full in a couple of years. The main criteria for a good bonsai is to constantly shaping it to look like a mini aged tree. The smaller the leaves, the better it looks.
